English
We continued with our non-chronological reports in literacy this week. They’re almost finished, we just have to add the finishing touches such as adding pictures.
  • End of term reading and writing assessments.
Math
This week we revisited multiplication and arrays. We also introduced the 3 and 4 times tables and used arrays to solve them. We found out that multiplication and division are inverse operations and began to write division sums.
  • End of term maths assessments.
Humanities
This week we looked at Victorian clothes. We identified ways in which they are different from how we dress now and discussed the differences between clothes for the rich and poor.
  • To understand differences between school in 19th century and now.
Science
Last week we were investigating what a fair test is and investigating ice cubes and how they vary when melting in different locations.

This week’s art lesson was used to design the front cover of our non-chronological report books from literacy.
