Math
We’ve been adding and subtracting 10, 20 and 30 on a 100 square. Once we could do this we used our knowledge of 10’s and 1’s to help us subtract 11,12, 21, 22 and 31 on a 100 square.
  • Understand and use terms of position, direction and movement
  • Measure lengths using uniform units
  • Begin to measure in centimetres and compare lengths

We compared seaside holidays in the past and present by looking at pictures and identifying similarities and differences.
  • To find out more about the past by looking at seaside souvenirs.

This week we looked at habitats and what animals we expected there and why they were suited to those habitats. We also highlighted two important factors for animals when considering habitats which are food and shelter.
