Stopwatches!

Today we practiced reading stopwatches and recording the time on a spreadsheet. We timed each other doing different activities around school. Why don;t you try doing this at home?

Be the Expert

Today we have been learning how to write digital and analogue time in words. When we had finished our written activity we became the experts by teaching a friend how to write the time. We also tested each other on writing digital time in words. 

e.g.  10:25 = "25 minutes past 10"

        11:10 = "10 minutes past 11"

          2:05 =   "5 minutes past 2"

Saving Water

Expanded Column Method
