The Little Red Hen

Last week Reception enjoyed the story of the 'Little Red Hen'. The two classes joined for activities including, making red hen crafts and headbands, making a home for the little red hen and her friends and playing farm animal games. We made masks of all the animals and role played the story on Friday.

Welcome Back to School RM!!

It was lovely to see the children back at school rested and happy to see their friends again!!

During the last week we celebrated our International week where RM focused on Australia. We worked hard all week to collage an Australian flag and paint a fantastic Koala bear. During the week we touched on other countries such as the UK, Switzerland and the children all made a flag of their own country.

During our joint activities with RS we made colourful birds from India, kangaroo puppets from Australia and decorated some Aboriginal masks.

On the last day we celebrated with International day. It was lovely to see children dressed in international dress. We ended the day with a fantastic feast of lovely snacks, thank you to all parents for the great food. The children ate for almost and hour!!!
