UOI Presentation
Here is Y3K's end of Unit of Inquiry presentation about
Who We Are. The children worked on their own to make their presentation and the content with no teacher help. We recorded the presentations three times. Each time the children reflected on their presentation and improved it to give this final project they are very proud of.
Please comment on our video as we will keep checking to see parents responses. You could write something you learned during the presentation or something you found interesting that the children had researched. Please ensure the comments are positive and help to build the children's confidence as many of them found it to be a challenge presenting to an audience in front of a camera.

Unit of Inquiry Presentation
This week we are giving our presentations about what we have learnt during our unit of inquiry "Who We Are" to the class. We have looked at our culture and other people's cultures from around the world. We have compared the differences and similarities and discussed why we think they have them and how that affects different communities. We are working in groups and using posters and pictures as visual aids to help explain our learning.

We are learning about Ancient Greek myths. Today we read the story of Theseus and the Minotaur.
The Ancient Greeks used the myths in their artwork. Sculptures, paintings, pottery, jewelry and clothes showed how important the myths were to them. Design a piece of jewelry or a pot based on the story of Theseus and the Minotaur.

Our Learning This Week
In literacy we are learning about myths. Today we learnt a myth is a story that is not true or false. We also found out that when a story is called a myth it is usually about heroes, gods and creatures.

We read the story of Theseus and the Minotaur. Please watch the video below to learn more about the story.
Last term we were finding fractions of amounts in maths. To help your children at home please watch the video below.
