House colours shirt
Dear Parents
After our successful House colours day we have explained to the children that they may wear their house colours shirts every Friday to school. This is to help foster strong morale for each house across the Primary school.
We would also like to thank all parents for their generosity and support for House colours day.
Many thanks
The KS1 team

Teddy Bear's picnic!
Last week we took our cuddly teddy bears on a picnic at Ascot! We shared delicious food with our teddy's and we taught them how to have good manners during our picnic. Next we took our bears for a play in our playground. We had lots of fun!

Our Five Fantastic Senses
In Science Y1H have been learning about our bodies and the five special senses that we have, which are: Sight, Sound, Taste, Smell and Touch.
Take a look at us using our senses 'Sight' and 'Touch' when we searched for rough and smooth objects around our school. This week we had lots of fun during our 'guess the smell' game!
Sun Hat reminder
Dear Parents,
Please do not forget to provide your child with a sun hat to bring to school. The teachers have been gently reminding the children and explaining the benefits of sun protection. As the weather can get very hot and sunny we wish to ensure that the children are not affected by prolonged exposure to the sun.
So from now, we will enact a strict 'no hat, no play' policy.
Many thanks to all parents for your support with this important issue,

Friendship
We have been discussing friendship in class and why it is important to be kind to friends. Y1H have been busy creating portraits of their friends by using colourful chalks. We also made lovely friendship bands for our friends too!
