During our last week of minibeasts we read the story of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' by Eric Carle. In literacy the children sequenced the life cycle of a butterfly. In Maths this week we looked at time, and talked about what we did at certain times of the day. We also made our very own rainbow clock.
In our joint activities with RS we did lots of crafts including balloon painting to make a hungry caterpillar, a paper plate ladybird and a paper chain caterpillar practising our patterning. We also made some lollipop dragonflies and toilet roll butterflies. Ms Smith had a cool adding machine which we enjoyed playing.
