Our Families

This week we have been talking about our families. The children are now getting used to their literacy groups and have been drawing pictures of their family and their homes, whilst other children look at picture books trying to tell the story to their teacher and others have been playing phonic games with Kru Fon.

Friends

This week our focus has been friends. We talked about how to treat our friends and how to play nicely together. We made pictures of our friends from various shapes.

In RM we have started our phonics program. This week we looked at  s a p and t. Children learnt the name and the sound and the actions to help them remember the letters. The children are all trying very hard to write their name independently.

In maths we have been counting up to 10 and counting down from 10 to zero singing songs to help us and doing lots of counting!!

First time in the 'big pool'!!

RM had their first swimming lesson in the big pool today with their new teacher Mr. John. This week they concentrated on getting used to the water, sitting on the side and splashing with their feet. One by one they went in the pool to splashed their faces with water. All the children followed the rules of the swimming pool, well done RM!
